I don’t know if the pressure will actually mount. Today’s conservatives appear to be motivated by owning the Liberals. To do so they are willing to accept an alternate universe. Canada would economically better if the government would balance the budget. Inflation is solely attributable to Liberal budget deficits. We are trouble because we don’t have a deal with Trump. It is possible to make deal with Trump. Brookfield. Etc. etc.
Winning elections does not seem to be the goal. Keeping the base enraged is.
At some point the Liberals will actually need to do *something* apart from relying on 'orange man bad'
They're not terrible but on the other hand they haven't actually accomplished anything beyond more Liberal backroom deals.
It's still very hard for the CPC to win given how the electoral map is setup. Best hope for them is 'orange man' goes away. It won't solve all their problems but it would help A LOT.
What is with Liaison’s massive lead for leaderless Libs in Ontario over the PCs. It’s really shook my confidence in them. They’ve always produced higher Lib leads. And yeah I know they did well in the last fed and ont elections, but their Ontario numbers make no sense right now. I’m not in the game of doubting pollsters. But I am on this.
