I don’t like calling people cancerous. It would be better to call him fundamentally unserious. Because that is what he is. He is an unserious person.

Ripping up an agreement to support a government, without saying specifically what the Liberals refused to implement and without a realistic ultimatum, shows you are not a serious person. The NDP had some leverage to influence policy and take credit for some of the policies. Now, both the leverage and the ability to claim credit are gone. How does that help the NDP?

In the meantime, the Liberals are busy announcing free school lunches and meeting with happy seniors who were finally able to have their teeth fixed. 34 dimensional chess on the part of Singh, obviously.

“… save the right trending seats by cutting back on the social progressivism and focusing solely on economic populism or they can try and become a party for social liberals and progressives”

This is the only bit I disagree with. There’s almost no inherent conflict between more economically populist positions and the current social progressivism. There’s even a lot of popular economic policies that fit better within a socially progressive framework than a conservative one.

The problem isn’t that the NDP is pairing their socially progressive policies with unpopular economic policies, the problem is that they basically don’t have an economic platform at all.

Is there anyone or any ‘means - Capable or By Which Jagmeet Singh of Brampton can just - Go Home & end his Pretensions of Being a Leader ?

He might do good things in Civic Politics - or within a Community.. it’s hard to comprehend or pretend he should be allowed to dangle in National & International levels that will Impact my Generation, my Son & Family & his Children.. This is exactly what concerns me about the Slow Motion - Incremental Assault by the CPC & Stephen Harper’s Alberta Franchise upon Democratic Elections - It’s no longer ‘Incremental either - It’s ‘a Parasitic Aetiology now & turbo charged via Symbiotic Yellow Media - a Design Built - Contemporary Coup D’état

Furthermore - It’s my Perspective - Any Popularity Poll re Preferred Prime Minister of Canada is Toxic Garbage. Only 70,000 Eligible Voters can Re-Elect or Dismiss Pierre Poilievre as ‘Their Elected Public Servant.. talk about ‘the Cart before the Horse - Polls ! !

Why not a Public Poll Conducted to ascertain how many in the various Pollster Stables can name a CPC Candidate other than the most savagely ‘Publicized & Strident ‘Stars

The Ongoing Pierre4Poilievre Election Campaign ‘dismisses Carleton Federal Riding & Constituents - and there’s not a Single Likeable Aspect to the Creep. None - Nada - He’s no more ‘likeable than Michael Cooper or Michelle Ferreri or Andrew Scheer - Try telling Carleton Riding ‘they lost control of their lives.. & only He Can Return It.. by what ? Remote Control ? He attempts to be ‘likeable via ‘and God Made A Farmer .. or The Night People froth - that strategy is ‘Stolen Honour and/or ‘Stolen Character .. he has Neither .. and his Principles and/or Ethics ain’t ‘situational - they’re Non Existent

He’s on The Ride of a Lifetime - Bottomless Secret Budget plus The Taxpayers Dime.. What could you have ‘Accomplished in TWENTY YEARS aside from becoming a MultiMillionaire & Real Estate Mogul via PRIVILEGED INSIDER INFORMATION & Gold Plated Pension.. he don’t look Broken to me ?

He looks CROOKED as the Day Is Long to me.. mebbe instead of trying to put a bandage on Canada & salvage some Ridings.. we could Gut the Fucker & Humiliate the Fuckers sucking eggs for him - Go after ‘The Company He Keeps - Take on the Septic Tank Media selling Canada Out - Go FULL ON GUERRILLA Media Warfare - a Veritable Onslaught Massacre BushWacking 🦎🏴‍☠️🧨

Singh never learned a fundamental truth - know your enemy! In this case, know who you are actually fighting. Otherwise, how can you have a winning strategy?

IMHO there are a few truisms in Canadian politics. One is that governments are not voted in, they are voted out. PM Trudeau has been in power now for almost 10 years. People are tired of him and want a change. I don't see this as any different than when Doug Ford became Premier in Ontario. The voters were tired of the Libs and wanted a change. The problem the NDP face nationally is that the can always be outflanked on the left by the Liberals. The Liberals can always attempt to frighten progressive voters into voting for them by using the Conservatives as a bogeyman (despite the fact that the Conservatives never live up to the alleged "secret agenda"). I agree with Evan that for the NDP to have any relevance, they need to identify with their working class, blue collar, unionized base, and prioritize their interests. It is astonishing that the Conservatives have eaten their lunch on the private sector union front. That should never have happened.

I believe the intention is to demonstrate solidarity with/loyalty to their union base following the government's actions around the rail strike.

It will be very interesting to see if they actually vote with their oppo colleagues to bring down the gov't. I don't think it would be in their best interests to do so, but they may see things differently.

Again the Major Failure re The Prime Directive.. First & Foremost - & especially in Crisis !

These People are Elected ‘Public Servants of THEIR CONSTITUENTS !

Need I even inquire if Singh’s ‘safe NDP - Federal Riding Constituents were ‘consulted ?

Of course they were not ! Seen as ‘irrelevant & ignorant of ‘the way the game is played ..’

I call BULLSHIT ! Who is he ‘addressing with his Sanctimonious Garbage ? Does Media pay him.. No ! Every Canadian PAYS him & contributes to his Pension - which he certainly doesn’t need .. & in return what ? He & the NDP Caucus point out exactly how Irrelevant we are ? Just like Carleton Riding is to the CPC War Room ? We got Respect from many Liberal Public Servants & one of them is The Prime Minister of Canada - like it or not

What happens if Trudeau tells Singh & the NDP to go Home to their Ridings & Return with The Word of The People who trusted & Elected them ? What then ? Singh has become just a ‘boat anchor for the NDP in my view & I’m curious how the Quebec Bloc plays this..

Over the top language, but I generally agree with your assessment. Singh has always been lazy. Was known to be lazy in terms of doing work and in terms of reading up on the policy briefs when a MPP at Queen's Park. And that never seemed to change when he went federal. He's a joke. Who believes this cliched tripe that he is spitting out about the Liberals being beholden corporate shills? Really? C'mon. It's so laughable if it wasn't so insulting... because he thinks the public will buy his BS.
