You are saying what most of us are thinking- Liberal thinkers, that is. The media refuse to tell any of the good news for Canadians. Would paid ads work or how should the stories be told?
When in govt, a party has enormous comms capacity, if they use it. Sitting govts should do ads just before and during elections. As the Hon. Mr Scrimshaw says, they need better, real storytelling now using their day to day opportunities, which are really massive when you're a govt. I commend Mr. Scrimshaw for his thinking about this.
Absolutely Evan! You nailed it again! For those asking how do you tell these stories? You create a story out of the successes being created. You don't do a one hour stop over and call it a day. You keep telling the stories. Good news has a short life span. Bad news has a long life. That is why PP's messages have weight. You use all the tools to keep hammering it home, over and over and over again. Until we all start believing it!
Since 2016, the obvious, pressing, repeated question has been “Why do Liberal comms suck so badly, and are they ever going to do something about it?” Here’s hoping your beautiful articulation of exactly what I’ve been thinking reaches the attention of someone who can make a (winning and) thoughtful comm strategy reality.
We need people to stop supporting one sided media stop buying the newspapers, cable etc. tell these media sources they are not being fair or honest. But good write up, I never that about ads but with media being conservative do you think they would post these ads?

100% agree. Its frustrating as hell that the Libs can't see this.
Evan - wow. You nailed it.
